Crisp Olive™ | Patterns of a Creative Life

Since I can remember, I have been drawn to design, creativity and arrangements.

Born and raised in Tehran, I spent 29 years immersed in the rich colors and layered textures of big city life before life brought me to Toledo, Ohio, in 2013. Through a 10-year chaos of a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, getting married, three cross-country moves, fashion school, and Sophie and Christian, I found my rhythm in creative entrepreneurship.

What began as a spontaneous floral sketch became a brooch, my first product! Then I designed thank-you cards to respond to the shower of gifts I received for Christian’s birth. Next, silk scarves. Shortly after, I put my designs on phone cases. Ultimately, a collection of unique paper, fashion, and lifestyle goods was born in a laundry/studio situation, while I’ve been momming.

My creative department takes over between my kiddos’ soccer/t-ball rides and a never-ending grocery list. This is authentic #momlife and your cue. If you’ve been dreaming - start!

Crisp Olive™ collections are created through colors that awaken modern nostalgia. Emotions that are visually current but built on past. My designs build upon my Persian roots mixed with the possibilities of the land I’ve been calling home since I turned 30. Had it not been for the support of my charming Midwestern man, Brad, Crisp olive™ would not have found its wings. Thanks baby!
